Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will lead cross‑functional projects that drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will work closely with design, operations, and supply‑chain teams to launch new products and optimize existing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing engineering projects, create detailed plans, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Review engineering deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure design for manufacturability from concept through shipment.
• Support new product launches by identifying cost‑reduction, manufacturability, and reliability improvements.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, analyze capital equipment needs, and lead capital projects.
• Design and implement tooling and fixtures that error‑proof processes and reduce waste.
• Conduct process mapping, FMEA, RIEs, 8‑step problem solving, and develop quality control plans.
• Mentor and train manufacturing engineers and support staff.
• Drive Industry 4.0 and advanced automation initiatives.
• Create and refine project delivery processes and automation tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related roles.
• Strong computer proficiency with data‑analysis programs.
• Proven problem‑solving ability using root‑cause analysis techniques.
• Experience with new‑product production integration or operational improvement projects.
• Six Sigma, Red X, or similar certification.
• CAD/CAM experience.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally across all organization levels.
