Senior Manager, Hardware Engineering

About the role

Serve Robotics is seeking a Senior Manager, Hardware Engineering to lead a team that designs, develops, validates and delivers the electrical and electronic systems powering its autonomous sidewalk delivery robots. The role combines people leadership with deep technical guidance to drive hardware programs aligned with the product roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of hardware engineers, providing feedback, career development and technical mentorship.
• Manage priorities, project assignments and resource allocation to deliver hardware programs on schedule.
• Provide technical leadership for design, integration and validation of complex electrical and electronic systems.
• Partner with mechanical, embedded software, systems, manufacturing and product teams to ensure successful cross‑functional integration.
• Identify risks, create mitigation plans and remove obstacles to engineering execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics or related field.
• 8+ years of experience developing complex electromechanical or robotics hardware systems.
• 3+ years of engineering management or technical leadership experience.
• Proven track record delivering hardware products from concept through production.
