Manufacturing Engineer – CNC & Steam Turbine Repair

About the role

Toshiba America Energy Systems Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its Milwaukee Service Center. The role focuses on developing and improving machining methods for new and legacy parts used in steam turbine and generator repairs, leveraging both CNC and manual equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with programmers, planners, and shop supervisors to define optimal machining processes, tooling, and fixturing.
• Design and implement new tooling and fixtures for shop work and machine stations.
• Lead development and testing of machining processes for turbine and generator service projects.
• Apply 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Support project managers with bid specifications, quoting, and schedule estimation.
• Address non‑conformance issues, providing root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Train planners, engineers, and operators on new processes and methods.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or service environment.
• Hands‑on experience with machine operation, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with manufacturing systems, preferably Oracle EBS.
• Ability to work in a networked PC environment.
