Manager Supply Chain Planning - Global Process Owner

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager Supply Chain Planning – Global Process Owner to lead end‑to‑end supply planning for its Surgical and Aseptic S&OP franchises. Based at the Fort Worth manufacturing facility, you will partner with global S&OP, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure efficient product delivery and support the company’s mission of helping people see brilliantly.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Global S&OP and manufacturing planning teams to optimize supply planning execution and measure performance.
• Maintain strategy, processes, and system alignment for Alcon’s Surgical and Aseptic S&OP franchises.
• Provide leadership for network supply‑planning governance and standards across the supply chain.
• Identify and evaluate new features for supply‑planning systems, collaborating with vendors and the IT Center of Excellence.
• Serve as functional SME for integrating planning systems with SAP ECC and other internal tools.
• Drive strategic, tactical, and operational improvements, including pull‑to‑push replenishment, capacity planning, and obsolescence management.
• Review manufacturing network strategy and recommend optimal supply‑planning system configurations.
• Prioritize change requests, prepare CAB reviews, and develop business cases for APS initiatives.
• Define training needs, coach planners, and mentor planning analysts.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in global supply‑chain planning or similar functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to assess strategic and operational impacts.
• Experience managing cross‑functional projects and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to develop business cases and influence budgeting decisions.

Required skills

• SAP ECC integration experience.
• Advanced Planning System (APS) knowledge.
• Analytics and data‑driven decision‑making capabilities.
• Familiarity with AI/decision‑intelligence tools for planning.
