About the role

The Manager, Sales Incentives Strategy & ICM will support the alignment of Mastercard’s global sales incentives program with operational excellence, driving the deployment and administration of SAP SuccessFactors Incentive Management.

Key responsibilities

  • Define strategic direction and roadmap for sales compensation, commissions, and variable pay programs.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end SAP ICM operations, including system configuration, data interface integration, and commission performance reporting.
  • Manage the operating model for plan deployment: intake, prioritization, backlog, governance, and release cadence.
  • Lead ICM plan design, configuration, testing, and go‑live execution in partnership with Compensation, Sales Ops, and Finance.
  • Support Territory & Quota system integration, versioning, approvals, and alignment with compensation plans.
  • Configure repeatable plan constructs, pay‑curve settings, and crediting rules across sales roles.
  • Handle data interfaces for acquisitions to transition sales incentive programs.
  • Execute incident, problem, change, and release management while meeting performance SLAs.
  • Maintain auditability, validation, reconciliation, approvals, and segregation of duties for pay‑impacting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and SOX policies, including access controls and audit readiness.
  • Establish governance for compensation and quota cycles, including calendars, cut‑offs, sign‑offs, and retrospectives.
