Manager, Loads & Dynamics

About the role

REGENT is building the Seaglider, a wing‑in‑ground‑effect craft for fast, sustainable coastal transportation. As Manager, Loads & Dynamics you will create and lead the function that defines vehicle loads, ensuring they are technically sound, consistent, and certifiable.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the Loads & Dynamics team, defining standards, operating cadence, and hiring engineers.
• Develop a coherent, traceable set of load cases across all operating modes and environmental conditions.
• Define dynamics and aero/hydroelastic approaches, including flutter risk, modal behavior, and dynamic response.
• Establish processes for loads validation, integrating CFD, FEM models, and test data.
• Produce certification‑ready artifacts and support discussions with regulators and classification bodies.
• Partner with Structures and Flight Physics to maintain a single source of truth for loads.

Required profile

• Extensive experience defining loads for complex aerospace, maritime, or hybrid vehicles.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and build high‑performing groups.
• Strong background in aeroelasticity, structural dynamics, and flutter risk identification.
• Experience working in regulated, certification‑driven environments (FAA, EASA, Lloyd’s Register, etc.).
