Manager, Incoming Quality Control & Physical Testing

About the role

INCOG BioPharma Services is seeking a Manager for Incoming Quality Control (IQC) and Physical Testing to lead its QC team in Fishers, Indiana. The role provides strategic leadership and functional oversight for IQC, in‑process physical testing, and finished‑goods physical testing of sterile injectable drug products.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage QC individual contributors responsible for IQC and physical testing, set performance goals, conduct reviews and provide coaching.
• Oversee material qualification programs, develop specifications, sampling plans and coordinate sampling, testing and ERP transactions for incoming raw materials and components.
• Manage authoring and issuance of inspection records for incoming materials, components and container‑closure systems.
• Represent IQC in material planning meetings, provide status updates and ensure release readiness.
• Lead investigations of IQC non‑conformances and ensure timely disposition of held materials.
• Provide oversight for in‑process and finished‑goods physical testing operations.
• Partner with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, MSAT, Manufacturing and Engineering, communicating technical and quality issues to leadership and regulators.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing QC teams in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong understanding of IQC processes, material qualification and physical testing of sterile injectable products.
• Ability to articulate complex technical and quality issues to diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with QA, supply chain, manufacturing and engineering.
