Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is seeking an experienced Manager to lead its Financial Planning & Analysis team. Reporting to an Assistant Vice President, you will guide a group of four analysts in shaping the Bank’s multi‑year budgeting and forecasting processes while partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the annual financial planning cycle and coordinate budget and forecast preparation.
• Produce analysis, presentations, and reports for senior leadership and the Board of Governors.
• Collaborate with department heads to set strategic direction and performance targets.
• Provide guidance on complex financial and operational issues, supporting both business goals and staff development.
• Lead process‑improvement and change‑management initiatives within the FP&A function.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and serve as primary contact for the Financial Support Office.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of leadership experience in financial planning and analysis; seven or more years preferred.
• Strong analytical acumen and proven ability to present financial information to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated success building cross‑functional relationships and developing direct reports.
