Manager - Data Center & AI

About the role

SHI International Corp., a global provider of IT solutions and services, is looking for a Technology Manager who leads the strategic planning and execution of technology initiatives, overseeing Data Center and AI solutions. The role ensures optimal performance, security and availability of technology, drives innovation, manages the technology budget, develops compliance and data security policies, and mentors the technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of technology initiatives supporting the organization's goals
• Oversee IT infrastructure management, performance, security and availability
• Drive innovation in technology solutions to improve service delivery and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology with business processes
• Manage the technology budget and allocate resources cost-effectively
• Develop and implement technology policies, standards and procedures for compliance and data security
• Mentor the technology team and foster continuous learning
• Ensure deployment and maintenance of technology systems and applications
• Analyze emerging technologies and trends, and manage vendor and partner relationships

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
• 3+ years of experience in a Tier 2 or 3 IT support environment
• 1+ years of management experience preferred
• Ability to travel 20%

Required skills

• Expert use of cloud-based platforms to build, deploy and manage applications and data
• Expert maintenance and optimization of data communication networks and systems
• Expert knowledge of Data Center solutions from vendors such as Dell, HPE, Cisco and Pure
• Expert project oversight and data analysis (cleaning, transforming and modeling data)
