About the role

As a Managed Care Pharmacist with the BCBSWY Pharmacy Team, you will ensure best‑in‑class service for members, providers, and the local community while supporting the company’s health‑insurance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate on operational, clinical, and client‑facing activities to manage prescription‑drug benefits.
Control drug costs and maintain regulatory compliance.
Serve as a liaison between BCBSWY and Prime Therapeutics (the PBM).
Oversee group‑benefits consultation, formulary management, drug‑cost evaluations, network management, and pharmacy operations.
Act as a brand ambassador for BCBSWY within the community.

Required profile

PharmD from an accredited institution.
Current, unrestricted pharmacist license and Wyoming practice certificate.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred: PGY1 managed‑care pharmacy residency (AMCP/ASHP accredited), Master’s in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration, and five years of experience with a health‑insurance payer or major PBM.
