Make Ready Technician – The Lofts at King Mill

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Make Ready Technician for The Lofts at King Mill. The technician ensures vacant apartments are prepared to market‑ready condition by performing repairs, maintenance, and finishing tasks in accordance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements to units before resident move‑in, following the make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect and repair or replace damaged sheetrock.
• Perform touch‑up painting on vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control by fixing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly.
• Follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and complete OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions, and address maintenance complaints promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and climbing.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow checklists and safety procedures.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
