Make-Ready Technician – The Caroline (Houston, TX)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Make‑Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments at The Caroline community in Houston, Texas. The technician will ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards before new residents move in, contributing to timely turnover and high occupancy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all required repairs and improvements on vacant units following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage, repair or replace it, and apply touch‑up paint to both vacant and occupied units.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, including trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly for the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.
