Make Ready Technician – Peak at 1385

About the role

We are looking for a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for new residents. The role involves performing a range of technical and mechanical tasks to ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards before it is re‑leased.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements listed on the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace it.
• Perform touch‑up painting in vacant and occupied units.
• Maintain common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completed work and submit the make‑ready checklist promptly.
• Follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete OSHA training.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Customer‑service orientation when interacting with residents.
• Willingness to support cost‑cutting initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts.

Required skills

• General maintenance tools usage.
