Make Ready Technician – Newbrook Point Hope

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments at the Newbrook Point Hope community for new residents. The role involves performing a variety of technical and mechanical tasks to ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards before re‑leasing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning.
• Complete all repairs and improvements on apartment homes according to the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect and repair or replace damaged sheetrock.
• Perform touch‑up painting for vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Support cost‑cutting initiatives by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly.
• Follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions, and address maintenance complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and bend for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists.
• Commitment to safety procedures and timely completion of tasks.
