Make Ready Technician (Hybrid – Groundskeeping & Unit Turn)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Make Ready Technician to join its Colorado Springs community. This hybrid role splits time between groundskeeping duties and preparing vacant apartments for new residents, ensuring each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements on vacant units according to the make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervisor direction.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by fixing parts instead of replacing them and using materials efficiently.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions and address maintenance complaints.

Required profile

• Ability to work both indoors on unit turn‑over tasks and outdoors on groundskeeping duties.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, lift equipment and work at heights.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards.
