Make-Ready Specialist – The Brook

About the role

We are looking for a Make‑Ready Specialist to prepare vacant apartments at The Brook community for new residents. The role involves completing repairs, finishing work and ensuring each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards before re‑leasing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all required repairs and improvements on vacant units following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage, repair or replace it to restore a flawless finish.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under the direction of the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assist with maintaining common areas and amenities, including trash removal and pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and follow detailed checklists.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure units meet occupancy standards.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift equipment and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.

Required skills

• Sheetrock repair and replacement.
• Caulking and sealing of fixtures.
• Touch‑up painting.
• Pressure‑washing of exterior surfaces.
