Make-Ready Specialist for Residential Units

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Make-Ready Specialist to prepare vacant apartments for new residents. You will ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards before re‑leasing, performing a range of technical and mechanical tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements listed on the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect and repair or replace damaged sheetrock.
• Perform touch‑up painting for vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, including trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly.
• Follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Customer‑service mindset, treating residents respectfully and responding to inquiries promptly.
