Make-Ready Specialist – Estates at Memorial Heights

About the role

The Make‑Ready Specialist ensures vacant apartments meet Greystar’s quality standards before they are re‑leased. Working on‑site at the Estates at Memorial Heights community, you will perform technical and mechanical tasks to turn units into market‑ready condition.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements listed on the community’s make‑ready checklist prior to new resident move‑in.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, cleaning, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by fixing parts instead of replacing them and using materials efficiently.
• Document completion of the make‑ready checklist and related maintenance records promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents.
• Provide courteous customer service by answering resident questions, handling complaints, and completing work orders efficiently.
