Make Ready Specialist – Corazon

About the role

The Make Ready Specialist ensures that vacant apartments are prepared to Greystar’s high standards for re‑leasing. Working on‑site in the Corazon community, you will perform a range of technical and mechanical tasks to turn units into market‑ready homes quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements required before a new resident moves in, following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervisor direction.
• Maintain common areas and grounds by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by fixing parts instead of replacing them whenever possible.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions, and address maintenance complaints with urgency.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Required skills
