Maintenance Technician – Westgrove

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of Westgrove’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will work directly with residents and the maintenance team to address service requests and keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory management.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and attend regular safety briefings.
