Surveyor II

About the role

Join Oceaneering, a global leader in advanced technology for energy, defense, aerospace and more. As a Surveyor II you will operate and maintain survey and positioning equipment, ensuring accurate real‑time positioning of vessels and remotely operated vehicles both on the surface and subsea.

Key responsibilities

• Operate survey and positioning equipment safely and efficiently, including cameras, acoustic positioning systems, sonars, subsea tooling and surface positioning systems.
• Install, calibrate and maintain surface and subsea sensors for real‑time position determination.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, and ensure the care and safety of company equipment.
• Travel domestically and overseas as assigned.
• Perform basic field calculations and data collection analysis.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years experience in the survey industry as a Survey Professional.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card and a valid passport with any required offshore certifications.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: two‑year technical degree or higher; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
