Maintenance Technician – Volta on Pine

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Volta on Pine community. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing waste of materials.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential or multifamily settings.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Availability to work Wednesday‑Sunday, 9 am‑6 pm, with on‑call duties as needed.

Required skills

• HVAC systems knowledge and certification.
