Maintenance Technician – Verra

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the Verra property in Boston. You will ensure that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document work orders and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing waste of materials.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with building maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and attend routine safety meetings.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Willingness to work onsite and collaborate with vendors and contractors.
