Maintenance Technician – The Silva

About the role
The Maintenance Technician for The Silva will ensure that the building’s physical components, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time position involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks across the property to minimize future issues.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure all work complies with established procedures.
Required profile
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical or technical problems in residential settings.
- Experience handling work orders, preventative maintenance and unit turnover processes.
- Capability to schedule and supervise external vendors or contractors when required.
- Commitment to adhering to safety standards, company policies and relevant building codes.
