Maintenance Technician – The Porter (Brewers Hill)

About the role

The Porter at Brewers Hill is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the property’s buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality. You will work on‑site handling resident service requests, preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing defects in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety and risk‑management meetings and adhere to Greystar’s safety policies.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Experience preparing vacant units for new tenants.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory and documentation.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and attend regular safety meetings.
