Maintenance Technician – The Pointe at Lakewood Ranch

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas at The Pointe at Lakewood Ranch meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This hands‑on position handles resident service requests, preventive maintenance, and the preparation of vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety activities.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work in a residential property setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate with vendors, and maintain accurate records.
