Maintenance Technician – The Peak

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support The Peak property in Atlanta. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and inspecting finished work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials and tools efficiently.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and adhere to Greystar’s safety policies.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procedures, safety standards and code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory tracking.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, cleaning and pressure‑washing.
