Maintenance Technician – The Lindley at Grove 98

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support The Lindley at Grove 98, a garden‑style community in Wake Forest, NC. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑cutting initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Available Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures, policies and code requirements.
• Attention to detail in documentation and inventory tracking.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning, pressure‑washing and basic repairs.
