Maintenance Technician – The Frank

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Frank, a residential community in Baltimore. The role involves ensuring the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies and completing all required maintenance tasks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all service requests and maintenance activities.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies and participate in routine safety meetings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and lift equipment as needed.
