Maintenance Technician – South Bay

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the South Bay property in Corpus Christi. You will ensure that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to maintain proper records.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and adhere to established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to address urgent maintenance needs.
