Maintenance Technician – Residence at Kingwood

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Kingwood residence in Humble. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders.
• Perform the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and minor painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs in accordance with safety standards and code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory, and documentation.
• Willingness to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
