Maintenance Technician – Prose at Ballpark

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Prose at Ballpark property in Goodyear. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to ensure the building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑cutting initiatives by repairing parts instead of replacing them when possible and using materials and tools efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks safely and according to established procedures.
• Experience with the make‑ready process for apartment turnover, including inspections and coordination with vendors.
• Proficiency in inventory tracking and reporting for maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Strong documentation skills to record service requests and maintenance activities accurately.
• Willingness to assist with grounds upkeep and cost‑control measures.
