Maintenance Technician – Pilot & Park

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Pilot & Park community in Savannah. The role involves ensuring that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to maintain clear records.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications are a plus.
• Experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and vendors.
