Maintenance Technician – Parkridge

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Parkridge community in Lake Oswego. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common‑area amenities meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and minor painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing material waste.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in routine safety meetings.
• Ability to follow established procedures for work order completion, inventory handling, and documentation.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, lift equipment, and work in various building environments.
