Maintenance Technician – Odyssey Landing

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Odyssey Landing community in Albuquerque. The role focuses on ensuring the building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance work, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety and risk‑management meetings and adhere to Greystar’s safety policies.

Required profile

• Experience performing technical and mechanical work in residential or property‑management settings.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and follow established repair procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory management.
• Commitment to safety standards and participation in safety meetings.
