Maintenance Technician (Multi-Site)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support multiple Greystar properties, primarily based out of our Sedgefield office. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and presentable.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, ordering supplies and completing all required maintenance tasks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all service requests and maintenance activities.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel between assigned sites.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow safety and code guidelines.
• Attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with residents, vendors and supervisors.
