Maintenance Technician – Mid‑Rise Apartment Community

About the role

The Gallery at Mills is a mid‑rise, stabilized apartment community in Orlando. Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies and completing all required maintenance tasks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete documentation accurately.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders and operating cleaning equipment.
