Maintenance Technician (Maxwell Property)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Maxwell property—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies and codes.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow Greystar safety and risk‑management policies and attend routine safety meetings.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, lift equipment and work in various building environments.
