Maintenance Technician – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures Twin Farms, a five‑star luxury resort in Barnard, Vermont, remains safe, functional, and impeccably presented for guests and staff. Working independently in a high‑service environment, you will handle daily upkeep, respond to urgent issues, and support small‑scale renovation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house spaces, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and small‑appliance issues.
• Complete light‑duty construction, renovation, and installation tasks as assigned.
• Inspect facilities to identify repair needs, safety concerns, and maintenance opportunities.
• Read, interpret, and update as‑built drawings for water, gas, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with contracted tradespeople, vendors, and service providers.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests while prioritizing guest‑sensitive service.
