Maintenance Technician – Legacy Encore

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Legacy Encore property in Tampa. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting tasks.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.

• Willingness to work a rotating on‑call schedule.
