Maintenance Technician – Kapilina Beach Homes

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team at Kapilina Beach Homes, a Greystar community in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to keep the property, its amenities and common areas safe, functional and well‑maintained. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with occasional on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on building systems, grounds and amenities to minimize downtime.
• Prepare units for new residents through the “make‑ready” process, ensuring all fixtures and systems are operational.
• Document work performed and update work order systems accurately.
• Participate in on‑call rotations as needed to address after‑hours emergencies.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in property or building maintenance.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eligibility for incentive‑based bonuses.
