Maintenance Technician II – Property Maintenance

About the role

Pillar Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventative and corrective maintenance across its apartment communities. The role focuses on ensuring apartments and common areas remain in excellent condition while responding to resident requests and emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on apartments and common areas, completing written work orders promptly.
• Conduct plumbing tasks such as drain cleaning and water‑circulation pump replacement.
• Handle electrical work including troubleshooting circuits and replacing breakers.
• Repair appliances, paint units and common areas, and service HVAC components like evaporator coils and exhaust fans.
• Assist with safety training, respond to community emergencies, and travel between local properties as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, employees, and vendors.
• Flexible schedule with reliable attendance and own hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair.
