Maintenance Technician (I, II, III) – Rental Housing

About the role

We are looking for motivated Maintenance Technicians at all levels (I, II, III) to support our rental housing portfolio. You will perform a wide range of repairs and preventative tasks, ensuring units are ready for new occupants and that properties remain safe and functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for HVAC, furnaces, water heaters, appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other building systems.
• Perform skilled work in one or more trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and locksmith tasks.
• Document all work according to company policy and maintain tools and equipment in ready condition.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules, replace filters, and use PPE correctly.
• Assist with unit turnover: painting, sanding, tile work, drywall repair, fixture replacement, floor stripping, waxing, polishing, and window repairs.
• Handle emergency situations such as sewage backups, water main breaks, fire damage, weather‑related issues, and urgent appliance repairs.
• Drive a company or personal vehicle as needed to reach job sites.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED with training or experience in building‑maintenance trades.
• 1‑3 years of experience in property or building maintenance.
• General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lb.
