Maintenance Technician – Gramercy (Buckhead)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Gramercy property in Buckhead meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for tracking purposes.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, and minor painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose defects, follow established policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory, and documentation.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
