Maintenance Technician – Geary Courtyard

About the role

Greystar is seeking an entry‑level Maintenance Technician to support the Geary Courtyard property in San Francisco. You will ensure that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately to ensure proper tracking of work orders.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with relatable experience; prior plumbing experience is preferred.
• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
