Maintenance Technician for Galleria Palms

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Galleria Palms property meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and overall functionality. Working onsite, you will respond to resident service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail in documentation and inventory management.
• Effective communication with residents, vendors, and maintenance supervisors.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and operate equipment safely.
