Maintenance Technician – Downtown Los Angeles

About the role
The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of Greystar’s downtown Los Angeles properties, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, on‑call position supports resident satisfaction and property performance through timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing the source of defects and repairing in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for new occupants, ensuring all systems are functional and the unit meets presentation standards.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in property management.
- Willingness to be on‑call as needed.
- Ability to follow established procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory codes.
