Maintenance Technician – Citizen House Blue Bluff

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the Citizen House Blue Bluff property—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and inspecting finished work.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
• Ability to follow established procedures for work order completion, inventory management and documentation.
