Maintenance Technician – Carmel Linea

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Carmel Linea property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and complete assigned repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance across the property.
• Diagnose and repair issues in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Handle unit‑turn repairs to prepare apartments for new residents.
• Maintain common area safety and functionality.
• Be on‑call Tuesday‑Saturday as required.
• Document work orders and updates using the Yardi system (preferred).

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, appliance repair, unit turns, electrical systems, and HVAC.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday with on‑call duties.
• Ability to obtain a 40 % housing discount through Greystar.
