Maintenance Technician – Calypso

About the role

The Maintenance Technician – Calypso is responsible for ensuring that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas at the Saratoga Springs property operate safely, look presentable and meet Greystar’s standards. This full‑time, on‑site role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing the source of defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks across the property to reduce future equipment failures.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors and contractors, and ensuring units are ready for new move‑ins.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed to address specialized repairs.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and local building codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose mechanical issues.
• Reliability and ability to work independently on‑site.
